What are the system requirements for Zipic?

Zipic is currently available for macOS. Version 1.8 and later require macOS 13.0 or higher, while earlier versions support macOS 12.0 or higher. A Windows version is in development, targeting support for Windows 10 and later.

What is the compression level?

The compression level indicates the strength of file compression. Higher levels result in greater compression but lower image quality. A level between 1 and 3 is recommended for balancing quality and compression ratio. You can increase the level if higher compression is needed.

Does Zipic support command line usage?

Command line tools are not yet available. However, you can refer to the Integrating Zipic Capabilities guide to use Zipic for image compression via URL Scheme in the terminal.

What formats does Zipic support?

Zipic supports batch compression of JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, HEIC, HEIF, PDF, and JPEG-XL (JXL) formats, as well as batch conversion to JPEG, HEIC, WEBP, AVIF, PNG, and JPEG-XL (JXL) formats.

Is Zipic free?

Zipic offers a free version with a limit of 25 compressions per day and no access to advanced features. To unlock the limits and access premium features, you can purchase a Pro license.
