What are the system requirements for Zipic?
Zipic is currently available for macOS, supporting versions 12.0 and above. A Windows version is in development and is expected by the end of the year.
What is the compression level?
The compression level indicates the strength of file compression. Higher levels result in greater compression but lower image quality. A level between 1 and 3 is recommended for balancing quality and compression ratio. You can increase the level if higher compression is needed.
Does Zipic support command line usage?
Command line tools are not yet available. However, you can refer to the Integrating Zipic Capabilities guide to use Zipic for image compression via URL Scheme in the terminal.
What formats does Zipic support?
Zipic supports batch compression of JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, HEIC, and HEIF formats, as well as batch conversion to JPEG, HEIC, and WEBP formats.
Is Zipic free?
Zipic offers a free version with a limit of 25 compressions per day and no access to advanced features. To unlock the limits and access premium features, you can purchase a Pro license.
